Yes, you can use the InstaLOD Pioneer license commercially, however, when you release content - either a game, or artwork, you need to make sure to pay credit to InstaLOD. We call this the Pioneer Attribution.

Yes, the InstaLOD Pioneer license can be used for freelance work, as long as your customer would be able to acquire a Pioneer license under his name. In other words, if your customer or final recipient of your work exceeds the USD $100,000 in annual revenue or total funding, you cannot use the Pioneer license.
In this case, the InstaLOD Studio License or a InstaLOD Node-Locked License must be acquired. The InstaLOD Studio License has a revenue/funding cap of USD $250,000 but you can use it for any kind of freelance work. The InstaLOD Node-Locked or Semi-Floating License has no revenue/funding cap at all.
TLDR: Only use the InstaLOD Pioneer license, if your customer could use it as well. Otherwise, you need to get a InstaLOD Studio License or InstaLOD Node-Locked/Semi-Floating license.

Whenever you share, publish, or distribute content created with the Pioneer License, attribution must be included. If you deliver content to a client, they are also responsible for keeping that attribution in place when they publish or use the content.
