In InstaLOD Studio, Mesh Operations are executed on all scene meshes by default. Enabling Mesh Filtering allows the execution of mesh operations on selected geometry. After selecting one or more objects in the viewport or Outliner, the mesh filter isolates them visually.
When mesh filtering is enabled, only selected meshes are visible in the viewport regardless of their visibility in the scene hierarchy.
Mesh Filtering can be enabled by pressing the filter icon in the toolbar
or through Edit -> Filter Selected in the main menu.
Use the shortcut Ctrl+F on Windows or Cmd+F on macOS to toggle Mesh Filtering.
Another option to filter meshes for selective processing is by using Mesh Match Rules. You can find detailed information about Mesh Match Rules in our Knowledge Base article here.
